There is a rail corral system with a water hydrant near by. Please bring your own hay and water buckets.

Plan a nature hike in the forest or around the lake, there
is great opportunity for bird watching due to the ranch working in conjunction with ducks unlimited to enhance our wetland habitat reserves. The cabin is secluded from the main ranch house to ensure that guests may enjoy the peace and quiet of being in the country.

Enjoy a cold drink on the front porch, read a book or take a nap in the sunshine. You can also bring your mountain bike, and fishing rods.


There is plenty to do even in the winter at Seven Half Diamond Ranch. Enjoy the serenity of the area as you glide along on cross-country skis. Hike on snowshoes through deep snow for a truly exhilarating workout. Explore the breathtaking winter scenes snowmobiling. Spend family time tobogganing down the hills and playing in the powder. Fishing

Seven Half Diamond Ranch provides anglers with the opportunity to enjoy some of the best and exclusive fly fishing you could wish for, and only 300 metre's from the cabin. See more about our lake.

Cross Country Skiing

Cross Country Skiing is a winter treat here on the ranch as well as Kane Valley which is well known for its trails and is located only twenty minutes away. Snowmobiling is very popular in our area with many great mountain trails and open places to explore, there are great trails right here at the ranch where you can get on your sled and go! For a more challenging ride you can trailer your sleds to Thynne mountain, or the Honeymoon, where there is more hill climbing and this is all located within .5hrs to 1.5hrs from the ranch.

Golfing

There are two nine hole golf courses in Merritt with grass greens, pro shops, and licensed clubhouses and these include the Merritt Golf and Country Club (www.merrittgolf.com), the Nicola Valley Golf Course is located just 15 min North of Merritt on Highway 5A where you can enjoy lunch at the historic Quilchena Hotel (www.nicolavalleygolf.com), and in Princeton there is the Princeton Golf Club which is a beautiful 18-hole championship course which includes an active golf and country club, (www.princetongolfclub.com).

Annual Events

Adventure

Visit a museum in Keremeos, Hedley & Princeton, walk through the tunnels on the Trans Canada Trail, especially the Red Bridge in Keremeos. You can pan for gold, hunt for fossils, go tubing down the river, explore ghost towns, visit fruit stands and learn about the history of the area.
